Priscilla Kidder, Pink Silk Moire Taffeta White House Wedding Bridesmaid Dress

Pink silk moire taffeta short sleeved A-line bridesmaid dress with 1.25" bias covered cording at neckline, hem, and sleeves; princess line seams from the bust to the hem, empire seam across the back where the center seam zipper is concealed by a 9 covered button overlap with hook closures at the cross seam and neck; the side seam Neiman Marcus label is embroidered in gold thread . The dress was worn by bridesmaid, Betty Beale, at the White House wedding of Lyndon B. Johnson's daughter, Luci Baines on Aug. 6, 1966. The hem is embroidered in cream with "Gown by Priscilla of Boston for the White House Wedding of Luci Baines Johnson on the 6th day of August 1966 Betty Beal."
