Good condition. Black staining at hem of dress. Plastic zipper was added in the 1960s. Pink make-up stains on front of dress. Belt made from same fabric as the dress and jacket. However, belt is 3" bigger than waist of gown. Due to the fact that the zipper was a 1965 addition, it is possible the 1935 bride had a larger waist.

Excellent condition. This piece was designed by an HCC Alumnus, Nicholas Champroux under his "Pilgrim" collection. The square mosaic accent was inspired from Russian icons.
Donor note: Tanzanian hand screen printed red, gold, black and white Kanga worn by women in East Africa, a traditional Swahili piece of cotton cloth printed with a Swahili proverb: "Mtoto kwa mama hakui" meaning "A child to the mother, is always a child."

Single-breasted white winter nylon coat with clover leaf lapel and four front faux buttons that have hidden snaps behind for front closures. Coat also consists of four pockets on bust and side seams. Sleeve hemline is finished with white silk ribbon and 1" white cotton fabric trim. Fully-lined with white cotton lining. Inside of the coat is Hong Kong finished.
Blue, white, taupe, and rust katazome three panel wedding futon cover with symbols including cranes, caped turtles, plum blossoms, bamboo, and pine needles.
