Multicolored floral pattern velveteen button-down vest with a chinese collar and rhinestoned metal buttons. There is also a pleated pink silk cumberbund with rhinestoned buttons. The ensemble also has a pair of multicolored floral patterned culotte style pants.

Excellent condition. The brand name "St. Michael" is owned by Marks and Spencer department store in UK.
Beige double-knit three quarter sleeve jacket with floral bouquet and bow embroidered on right front shoulder and left front waist; the bodice pieces are used horizontally allowing turned facings with a green band at center front edges; the set-in sleeves are vertical with a green band at the hems, and a green edging is applied at the round neckline; the jacket closes with a single covered button and crocheted loop. The beige double-knit short sleeved top has applied beige edging at the round neckline and closes with a 15.5" zip at center back. The beige double-knit straight skirt is fully lined with a side zip and button at waistband.
Good condition. The knit used on jacket is used on the wrong side in the wrong direction. All three pieces are stained. The stitching on the right front facing is loose or undone. The jacket and top have Art Knitting Toronto label in a seam.

Good condition. Brocade fabric is stained and beginning to tear and fray. Woven metal button coverings have frayed on three buttons and two out of the three are missing their wooden structure. Padding has been inserted under waistcoat to provide the proper silhouette. This garment was completely made by hand as sewing machines had not yet been invented.

Good condition. Evidence of conservation attempt at some point in garment history. Fabric covering buttons and button loops disintegrating, therefore the back has not been buttoned all the way. A weight has been sewn onto the neckline to create the cowl shape. The NRA label indicates the National Recovery Act voluntary program initiated by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1930s.
